Hey, y'all.

As you can see, we are now in June...and there's still no contest theme this time period. Unfortunately, since this board is "under new management", there's still a few issues Clint, the other mods and I are working out.

As such, I'm going to make and command decision and postpone this period's Art Contest. With any luck, we'll be back for July.

Until then, keep those creative juices flowing!

I've been away awhile! I think its not just creative juices that are being plagued but the economy. We need something funny to help us relieve the stress of what is going on around us right now. Or we could do 'helping your fellow Kat or world' type of pieces.

Here's a few ideas I had that might help pick our spirits up:

1. Show our characters out of work and trying to find new jobs

2. Nightmares of walking credit card horrors attacking our characters in their dreams.

3. Celebrating special occasions: Birthdays, secretary's day, mayor's day, enforcer's day, etc

4. Helping the Planet, charities, fund raisers, providing aid, orphanages etc.

5. Helping the poor, the SWAT Kats delivering food and other things, soup kitchen with Briggs and Manx serving, the enforcers helping to build new homes for the poor (Habitats for Humanity).

Hope this helps a little. You know we haven't had anything that would correlate with the needs of taking care of ones world (like our Earth Day, Farm Aid, Feed the Children etc). Contests on that would be perfect timing about now. Don't forget to do a couple of writing contests too for those that don't draw.
