I'm talking about the film of course. Did anybody else like it? I enjoyed it very much and feel that it's rather underrated.

Anyone else?

I loved the film. Almost skipped seeing it in theaters, but it was very much worth seeing. Had a special sort of feel to it and I really liked the voice acting as well as the characters. Hmm, I think it might have been underrated since it is animation and might be seen to be targeted to children more, but this movie definitively has a lot of adult entertainment value. In any case, Fantastic Mr. Fox was a fun movie to watch.

Yeah, it felt less like a children's film and more like a family film. Anybody could watch it and enjoy it.

In fact, I almost didn't see it in theaters either. I decided to go simply to make my family happy. In retrospect I'm glad I went!

Plus the local theater shows older films (released a year or two ago) for a discount on summer Wednesdays. The Fantastic Mr. Fox is going to be played on the 28th. I'll probably go see it again.

I'll have to rent it off On Demand or something. I still haven't seen it.

Please do so. It's excellent! At least I think it is.

And Wes Anderson got a filmmaking achievment award for the film. Here's his acceptance speech.

By golly, I think that's the best acceptance speech ever.... it's animated!

I haven't seen it yet. It's funny how I ran into this thread, since a friend was talking about it a couple of days ago. He's got it on his external hard drive, so all of us are gonna hang out tomorrow and watch it. From the conversation, it sounds pretty funny.

That's a bit of an in-joke. You have to watch the movie to understand it, but no they don't swear.
